Join the Information Management team of an international humanitarian organization. The ICRC delegation in the Philippines is hiring for a:
ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
based in Makati City
Under the supervision of the Information Management Officer, the Administrative Assistant supports in the management of information, and organization of the priorities of the delegation. S/he assists staff members on information management tools, protocols, rules of correspondence, and in other administrative matters.
MAIN TASKS:
- Supports in the implementing of all information management projects, and programs (particularly IBM Lotus Notes, Microsoft Sharepoint, ICRC standard tools)
- Provides complex administrative/secretarial services such as assisting in the organization of seminars, trainings and workshops, independent liaison with the concerned internal and external contacts, logistical arrangements, and compiling internal reports etc.
- Provides assistance to hierarchy, and supports them in managing different projects/files
- Autonomously drafts and finalizes correspondences, internal presentations, minutes of the meetings and other documents
- Updates general information and a range of collaborative tools and databases
- Ensures compliance with the rules of the ICRC visual identity for external correspondence, letterheads, etc.
REQUIRED PROFILE:
A successful candidate will:
Have a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or equivalent
Have 3 years minimum work experience in a similar role
Possess excellent oral and written communication skills
Be a good team player
Be a self-learner, autonomous and practical
Have a strong personality; result and service-oriented
Have strong command of IT office tools (e.g. Lotus Notes and Microsoft Office)
Have an experience in using collaboration tools and platforms (e.g. SharePoint, would be an edge)
