The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) Delegation in the Philippines is urgently looking for suitable candidates to fill the following vacancy:
CASHIER
(Based in Davao)
Main Tasks:
Assists in managing finance and accounting procedures
Manages cash and check disbursements, fund transfers (internal/external), deposits, drafts requests
Posts cash receipts on a daily basis
Checks documents of mission advances for settlement
Confirms that the cash control and the general ledger are in balance on a daily basis
Facilitates payment of accounts payable
Prepares monthly billing statements e.g. vehicle use, telephone charges
Reconciles bank statements
Assists in monthly accounting closing and follows up on demands for financial allocations
Analyzes accounting records to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to defined standards
Minimum Required Profile:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration or equivalent
Minimum of two-year work experience in a similar function
Computer literate with good knowledge of computer software
Good command of written and spoken English
Good computer and software application skills
