Job Purpose
The Assurance Data and Reporting Manager supports the ICRC Ethics Risk and Compliance Office (ERCO) in the data management process. He/she is responsible to collect, process and analyse data from various institutional risk and compliance activities. He/she supports the preparation of reports on risk and compliance activities, including the development and maintenance of dashboards.
Main Responsibilities
- Assist the ERCO Internal Control Manager and Risk Management Adviser in running the institutional annual assurance activities, more specifically in collecting, processing and analyzing data for the Entity-Wide Control annual self-assessment, Assurance-map, Major Institutional Risk dashboard, Field risk assessments, ERCO Annual Report etc.
- Assists the ERCO Internal Control Manager and Risk Manager Adviser in preparing reports on assurance activities, including the development and maintenance of dashboards
- Assists in the collection of management responses to external auditors’ recommendation (Management Letter) and follows up on the implementation of remediation action plan with the recommendation owners
- Supports the development (feasibility study and project phase) and running of the compliance data repository/system (INSIGHTS)
- Assists in improving, developing & applying assurance data quality monitoring processes & tools (dashboards etc.) and contributes where appropriate in DQ controls automation.
- Ensures continuity and smooth transition of data entered into various Assurance system and applications (e.g. INSIGHTS, ERWIN, Risk dashboard and system)
- Assists ERCO in reflecting on performance measures, improvements in the functional area of expertise and provides ongoing support with data and analysis, reports revisions and optimization
- Assists in developing ad hoc reporting and presentations to ICRC Governing bodies, donors, etc.
- Contributes to the development of the data model and usage of the referential data that supports analysis
- Applies best practices, standards, guidelines and templates for data management and analytics, and works on continuous improvement
Selection Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business and Administration or equivalent
- With typically 6 to 10 years’ total experience, 3 years’ relevant experience in risk & compliance and in data analytics in an international organization
- Knowledge of BI, SL and Tableau
- Excellent English communication skills, proficiency in French an asset
- Team spirit, reliable, accurate, dynamic, rigorous and resilient
- Attention to details and accuracy
- Organizational skills and sense of priorities
- Proactive and capable to work autonomously and to take new responsibilities
