The Learning & Development (L&D) Unit based in the ICRC Regional Delegation in Bangkok seeks to fill the following position:
Learning and Development Trainer, 100%
The L&D Unit is seeking to appoint a talented, experienced and energetic Trainer. Under the supervision of the Head of the Learning and Development Unit for Asia, the Trainer facilitates in-house staff training courses in Bangkok and throughout the Asia-Pacific region, both independently and in cooperation with other trainers of the unit.
As L&D Trainer, s-he will be responsible for:
· Delivers training courses both face to face and online covering staff induction, team management and leadership and other relevant topics that may include security and training of trainers among others.
· Contributes to the preparation and follow-up of candidates for various training programmes.
· Develops course content in accordance with learning and development module designs and adapts certain modules and exercises to most suitably fit the context and operational activities.
· Contributes to the tutoring of "on the job learning activities" when needed.
· Provides training and support to other trainers and training relays.
· Conducts Learning Needs Analyses as required.
Selection requirements and experience
· University degree / certification or equivalent.
· Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in training design and delivery in another organisation or company (or 5 years of experience with the ICRC in at least 2 different contexts, (If any).
· Experience in training directed to Managers and/or in online facilitation a strong asset.
· Fluent in written and spoken English; ability to deliver training courses in other languages (optional), especially French, a major asset.
· International experience, preferably in the humanitarian sector (If any).
· Fully conversant with IT and Learning tools.

· Ability to travel frequently, including to remote areas.
