Print & Audio Visual Production Officer
(Based in Makati)
The Print & AV Production Officer is responsible for the development and production of compelling print and audio-visual products that contribute to the attainment of the communication objectives and positioning strategy of the ICRC Delegation in the Philippines. S/He will be in charge of managing the delegation’s communication library, production database, and pool of qualified communication suppliers.
MAIN TASKS:
Takes lead in collecting, as well as building the field staff’s capacity to collect, compelling communication materials (i.e. stories, photos, video clips) in support of the delegation’s communication objectives
Oversees the overall production process of relevant print and audio-visual communication products for the delegation, in coordination with different departments, ensuring that the quality of these products are in line with the ICRC's visual identity
Coordinates regularly with regional and headquarters counterparts to share information about the delegation’s production projects, and checks new or existing communication products / publications that can be used by the delegation
Manages the communication library (i.e. design files, photos, publications, videos, etc.) and the production database, and maintains a pool of qualified communication suppliers (i.e. photographers, videographers, graphic designers, etc.)
Leads the Field Production Book (FPB) exercise for the delegation, monitors the delegation field production and consumption budgets, and implements the field production strategy
REQUIRED PROFILE:
A successful candidate must have:
University degree in communication or marketing or equivalent extensive experience related to development communications or integrated marketing communications
At least 5 years work experience in a similar field in the development / humanitarian sector or commercial / advertising sector
Planning, coordination, and organizational skills
Exceptional writing (Filipino and English) skills
Excellent interpersonal communication skills (Filipino and English)
Basic photography and videography skills
Proficiency in using Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Premiere Pro
Working knowledge of basic design / layout principles, and pre-press production workflow and technology
A creative approach in developing communication tools
An initiative-taking, pro-active attitude, with the ability to perform with minimal supervision in a multi-cultural working environment
