Join the economic and security team of an international humanitarian organization. The ICRC Mindanao sub-delegation is looking for:
Economic Security Field Officer
(Based in Cotabato)
The Economic Security Field Officer is responsible for planning, implementing and monitoring the various emergency and early recovery projects of Economic Security (EcoSec) in Cotabato area of responsibility (AoR), according to the established standard operations and guidelines and the general strategy of the ICRC.
MAIN TASKS:
Carries out assessment, project design, monitoring and evaluation of projects in the AoR
Collects data using data collection tools and devices Open Data Collection Kit / ODK) for beneficiary registration and other related use
Implements specific projects related to cash transfer programming and in-kind distribution, mainly independently
Contributes to planning, developing method, and logistics preparation for relief distribution
Prepares written EcoSec reports and contributes to the periodic institutional reportings
Follows the sub-delegation's strategy and looks for potential link/integration in projects
Manages teams of PRC volunteers during various field activities (registration, assessment, distribution, monitoring)
Collaborates with internal departments - Protection, Water & Habitat, Health, Cooperation, and Communication and contributes to the general working strategies
Maintains contact with authorities and technical counterparts at various levels within the AoR
REQUIRED PROFILE:
A successful candidate will have:
A university degree or equivalent
At least 4 years of experience in similar field
Fluency in written and spoken English, Tagalog, and Maguindanaon
Good organizational skills
Good analytical skills
Good communication skills
The ability to work under stressful conditions while maintaining patience, perseverance, self-confidence
As an asset, a successful candidate may have:
Good interpersonal skills and a good network of contacts
Awareness and respect of professional and institutional ethics, particularly with respect to confidentiality
Flexibility to work several weeks in the field and to travel to different areas
Good knowledge of Maguindanao, North Cotabato, Sultan Kudarat and Sarangani.
