Join the Finance and Administration team of an international humanitarian organization. The ICRC Mindanao sub-delegation is looking for:
ASSISTANT TRAVEL OFFICER / RECEPTIONIST
(Based in Davao City)
The Assistant Travel Officer helps to ensure travel related activities are organized smoothly, including coordination of pick-up/drop-off of ICRC staff and guests, travel/training arrangements, accommodation, etc. S/He also acts as the first point of contact for visitors. Where required, s/he works the switchboard and handles some administrative tasks.
MAIN TASKS
* Assists the Welcome Service Unit in all administrative tasks
* Participates in organizing pick-up and accommodation for staff and guests
* Helps organize staff travel according to the most effective costs/means, and if required, coordinates drop-off/pick-up
* Keeps all appropriate databases on staff members, missions and other travel, document validity, residences and any other relevant information up to date
* Organizes welcome files, business cards, briefing programmes and tours of the sub-delegation for new arrivals
* Organizes logistics for events / meetings / seminars and coordinates with parties concerned
* Welcomes visitors, and directs them to appropriate staff; updates lists and tables, telephone numbers, addresses, etc.
* Answers and redirects incoming calls and answers callers’ questions
* Performs some secretarial duties
REQUIRED PROFILE
A successful candidate will have:
* University degree in management or equivalent
* At least two (2) years’ experience in a similar function
* Good command of English, Filipino and other local dialects
* Good computer skills
* The capacity to work independently
* High flexibility/adaptability
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
A successful candidate may have:
* Experience in a similar function with an NGO/INGO
* Related experience in hotels or travel agencies

Contract starts: As soon as possible
Contract duration: Fixed Term (until December 2018)
