JOB ROLE
Private Partnerships and Philanthropy Advisor role requires a highly motivated individual with a proven track record of raising funds and growing income from within the Gulf and/or broader Middle East region. An expert in networking, influencing and negotiation and with demonstrable skills and experience in five-star donor stewardship, innovative financing and Islamic Philanthropy, the Private Partnerships and Philanthropy Advisor will work within a broader ICRC Resource Mobilization team and within the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement to increase income for operations globally.
CONTRACT DURATION
3-year contract with the possibility of extension

EDUCATION REQUIRED
▪ University degree or equivalent experience in field(s) relevant to the role
▪ Fluent in English and Arabic with French an asset
▪ Computer proficiency with up-to-date applications relevant to fundraising
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
▪ 5- 10 years of relevant professional experience
▪ Proven track record as a professional fundraising and of successfully delivering financial income in complex partnerships.
▪ Experience working in complex, large-scale organizations.
▪ Experience working with private sector partners in the Gulf, Middle East and / or Arab world, including knowledge of philanthropic culture, families, foundations, structures and processes.
▪ Familiarity with the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, including the ICRC, and / or other international humanitarian and/or development organizations an asset.
▪ Relevant existing professional and personal networks across the GCC region
