The Digital Officer works to enhance the digital reputation and positioning of the ICRC, furthering the goals and objectives of the digital strategy. S/he drives the ICRC’s efforts to connect with relevant audiences through digital content and channels by editing, creating, and publishing content in different channels.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manages ICRC Philippines' web page and Facebook page;
- Leads the editorial planning, storytelling, and generation of engaging AV content for these platforms, with potential use in ICRC's global or regional social media channels;
- Identifies and seizes reactive opportunities and contributes to or localizes global campaigns;
- Develops collaborations with external digital media agencies to highlight ICRC priority themes or humanitarian issues to targeted or general audiences;
- Conducts regular evaluations of the success of digital content initiatives and reports on key performance indicators set every year;
REQUIRED PROFILE
- 3-5 years of professional experience in digital communication;
- University degree in communications, marketing, or journalism, preferably with a digital background ad specialization;
- Experience in creating content/ publishing, and engaging with audiences via Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Tiktok, LinkedIn;
- Experience in web editing and familiarity with search engine optimization;
- Familiarity with FB analytics and other social media analytical tools, ad management (Google Ads, Facebook, Twitter);
- Skilled computer user of web publishing (content management systems, including Drupal and/or WordPress) and social media and other graphic/ photo/video editing tools (Canva, Mailchimp, Adobe Creative Suite);
