The Administrative Assistant will provide general administrative support. S/he functions as an accountant – in charge of preparing checks, recording accounting entries, reconciling bank statements, and analyzing the accounting records of Cotabato Sub-delegation, strictly respecting and applying the ICRC's rules on financial management. S/he supports the Finance and Administration Manager in the day-to-day premises activities.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensures the integrity of financial and analytical accounting in the sub-delegation.
- Prepares and records accounting entries.
- Ensures accuracy and completeness of accounting transactions in accordance with the financial procedures.
- Performs regular checks of accounting entries and account balances.
- Supports the day-to-day management of premises including pantry and cleaning supplies.
REQUIRED PROFILE
A successful candidate will have:
- At least two (2) years experience in a similar function
- University Degree in business and accounting or equivalent
- Experience in a similar function with an NGO/INGO is an advantage
- Good command of written and spoken English, Filipino, and other dialects is an advantage
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of ERP application (IRIS)
- Capacity to work autonomously but in close coordination with the direct supervisor
- High flexibility/adaptability
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks
- Ability to build positive relationships with a high level of interpersonal skills
