The HR Officer is responsible for staff administration within the sub-delegation. S/he provides HR services in line with the ICRC’s and the delegation’s policies and the applicable laws and regulations.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
• Ensures that staff-management policies are applied correctly.
• Ensures that new employees are welcomed and well-integrated.
• Carries out local recruitment and talent acquisition activities.
• Processes monthly payroll and manages the payroll database and HRIS
• Maintains employee files and records in electronic and paper form.
• Acts as a focal point for general HR-management issues such as but not limited to employee relations, leaves, compensation, etc.
• Monitors and ensures compliance with local labor laws and staff regulations.
• Acts as a Staff Health Relay for Cotabato sub-delegation and Iligan office.
REQUIRED PROFILE
A successful candidate will have:
• University degree in Psychology, Human Resources, or relevant field
• At least 2-3 years’ progressive work experience as an HR generalist
• Good command of written and spoken English
• Computer Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
• Knowledge of ERP (preferably SAP) is a strong advantage.
• Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills, including presentation, facilitation, and negotiation.
• Strong time management skills (multi-tasks, prioritizes work tasks, utilizes resources effectively/efficiently, adapts to changing work demands/priorities/environments).
• Flexibility to work and travel to Iligan Office on scheduled official business visits.
