Join the Premises team of an international humanitarian organization. The ICRC Manila delegation is looking for a:
Housekeeper Supervisor
(Based in Makati)
The Housekeeper Supervisor ensures that ICRC premises are clean. S/he also supervises a team of Housekeepers assigned to the office and residences.
MAIN TASKS:
· Coordinates with and manages the housekeeping team, and provides relevant training
· Carries out domestic/housekeeper duties when, and if, required.
· Resolves issues related to ICRC premises and informs the supervisor of major concerns
· Supports the maintenance and logistics teams, as well as other colleagues in a variety of manual tasks when needed
· Manages the inventory of pantry supplies and office furniture's
· Ensures that the team can work in a safe and suitable condition
· Organizes work within the team and makes use of all resources available.
· Arranges the work schedule of the housekeepers and adjusts according to any need for temporary replacement
· Organizes regular meetings with the team and keeps them updated on all relevant information
· Sends/receives email communication regarding related concerns to colleagues, and the building administrator/s of the office and residences
· Prepares the monthly request for pantry/cleaning supplies and follows-up to ensure timely delivery
· Ensures that there are sufficient and appropriate materials available
REQUIRED PROFILE:
A successful candidate will have:
· At least a high school diploma
· At least 2 years’ work experience in housekeeping
· Knowledge of hygiene principles and office procedures
· Strong personality
· Computer proficiency
· Good spoken and written English
As an asset, a successful candidate may have:
· Experience working in international organizations or the hotel industry
· Solid similar work experience
