The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) is a Geneva-based humanitarian organization that protects and assists victims of armed conflicts and other situations of violence without discrimination. It has been providing humanitarian aid in the Philippines for more than 70 years,with a permanent presence since 1982. The ICRC works closely with the Philippine Red Cross,its primary partner in the country.

Join the Logistics team of an international humanitarian organization. The ICRC Manila delegation is looking for a:

Customer Service Desk Officer

(Based in Makati)

The Customer Service Desk Officer is the first point of contact for all requests to be fulfilled by Logistics. S/he ensures that requests are handled efficiently and effectively to meet needs in the field. S/he makes information about potential or firm orders available to other logistics staff and those requesting services. S/he handles all documentation processes and ensures compliance to procedures related to the delegation's cash transfer program.

MAIN TASKS:

· Processes supply requests (SR) according to the ICRC's logistics and financial procedures.

· Manages sourcing and forwards all approved supply requests to the appropriate source.

· Keeps those requesting services regularly informed about progress on their requests.

· Provides technical support and trainings for all JDE and OSCAR Light users.

· Handles all JDE and OSCAR Light transactional data maintenance.

· Manages the Manila Logistics Service Task Management (STM) database and ensures all requests are validated and attributed on time.

· Provides support for Cash Transfer Programs by ensuring timely funds transfer to Financial Services

· Provides and facilitates the submission of required documentation in line with ICRC guidelines and procedures.

REQUIRED PROFILE:

A successful candidate will have:

· At least 2 years’ professional experience in Supply Chain Management

· University degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or Educational background with supply chain experience

· Proficiency in JDE or equivalent ERP software

· Excellent computer literacy (Word, Excel)

· Excellent command of written and spoken English

As an asset, a successful candidate may have:

· Previous experience in humanitarian work
